Nu Wave Host Home is a Residential Placement Services Agency. Nu Wave originated in 2015 with a reformation in 2019 under the guidance of Rosa Harris, who has been supporting the disabled community since 2009.We work with individuals, families, and Teams to design and develop a person-centered plan, one-on-one connections, and creating possibilities in every direction We offer alternative living arrangements for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Residents live in private family homes, “Host Homes” with dedicated caregivers/ Host Home Providers, whom we call “Mentors. We focus on tools that will support individuals in maintaining their independence as safely possible. We ensure that our Mentors are truly invested in the ones we serve and committed to developing a relationship with quality service. In addition to residential support through Host Homes we also support Family Caregivers, Supported Community Connections, Respite, Mentorship, and Transportation.
