WHALE Respite Center specializes in inclusive child care and respite services for children with medical, developmental, and behavioral needs.
At WHALE, we build inclusive communities where families who have children with delays/disabilities THRIVE through equal opportunities to live, learn, and play. WHALE (We Help And Love Everyone) was built from years of community need and advocacy. WHALE opened its doors in July 2024 to create a safe, loving space where every child can thrive and every caregiver can breathe. WHALE Respite Center specializes in inclusive child care and respite services for children with medical, developmental, and behavioral needs. We provide full-time childcare (Monday through Friday) in our infant, toddler, preschool, and UPK classrooms. We offer weekend respite and on those days, in our school age room, children will have the opportunity to go to the large motor room, sensory gym, independent/transitional living room, art rooms, and quiet rooms. Our highly trained staff support a wide range of care needs while providing a safe, nurturing environment where every child can learn, play, and thrive.
