Harmonie House provides essential Medicaid waiver services to children and adults in Western Colorado with developmental disabilities, helping them access care, community, and opportunity.
Harmonie House was born out of necessity — and love. As parents and advocates, we founded this organization to ensure our own children could access the life-changing services that simply didn’t exist in Northwest Colorado. What started as a deeply personal mission has grown into a nonprofit dedicated to making sure every child and adult with intellectual or developmental disabilities has a path to thrive — with dignity, support, and care that meets them where they are. When you work with Harmonie House, you become part of a community that feels like family. We value relationships, trust, and showing up — not just as providers, but as people who understand what’s at stake. We strive to offer the highest wages possible to those delivering care, because we know that quality services begin with a supported workforce. Whether it’s through waiver navigation, therapy, respite, or life skills development, everything we do is rooted in equity, inclusion, and belonging — right here in the communities we call home.
