CCDS is a small, person-centered program that has proudly served adults with intellectual disabilities for more than 16 years. Over the years, we have remained committed to creating a supportive, engaging, and empowering environment where every individual is valued and encouraged to thrive. We offer a blend of community-based outings and on-site activities, giving clients the flexibility to choose experiences that match their interests, comfort level, and personal goals. Our team reflects the diversity of the community we serve. We have staff members who speak English, Spanish, German, and Arabic, allowing us to communicate effectively with clients and families from a variety of cultural backgrounds. This diversity strengthens our ability to build trust, foster connection, and ensure that every individual feels understood and included. At CCDS, our mission is to empower adults with intellectual disabilities by providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that fosters personal growth, independence, social connection, and meaningful engagement. Through compassionate care and purposeful programming, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each person we serve. We honor every individual’s dignity, strengths, and unique potential, recognizing that each person brings their own talents, preferences, and aspirations. Our community activities are designed to promote integration, confidence, and real-world experiences. Whether exploring local parks, visiting museums, participating in recreational outings, or engaging in volunteer opportunities, clients are supported in building skills and forming meaningful connections. On-site, we offer a wide range of activities—from fitness and creative arts to life skills and social development—ensuring that clients have opportunities to learn, express themselves, and enjoy their day in a way that feels right for them. Above all, we believe that choice matters. Clients have a voice in their daily activities, monthly calendars, and personal goals. By centering their preferences and encouraging self‑advocacy, we help individuals build independence and shape a life that reflects who they are.
