At Community Supportive Services, our mission is to empower adults with developmental delays by providing compassionate, person-centered care while fostering independence and community engagement. We specialize in supporting individuals with high SIS levels, including those who display self-injurious behaviors (SIBs) and aggression. Through tailored interventions, positive redirection, and a deep understanding of each individual’s needs, we ensure that all clients, regardless of their SIS level, are treated with dignity and respect. Each client is unique, and we believe in creating personalized care plans that are adapted to their specific needs and goals. Our team works collaboratively with clients and families to achieve the best outcomes. We are committed to not only managing challenging behaviors but also to helping our clients experience joy, freedom, and growth as they participate in and contribute to their communities. Our approach is centered on taking individuals out into the community, fostering their social skills, and helping them build connections and experiences in everyday settings. By maintaining a safe, structured environment and utilizing evidence-based practices, we help our clients thrive within their communities and lead fulfilling lives.
